Role Description The Piano Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, responsible for delivering high-quality piano lessons to students of varying ages and abilities. Day-to-day tasks include planning and conducting individual or small-group lessons, teaching foundational and advanced piano techniques, and integrating music theory into practical instruction. The teacher will prepare learners for graded exams (such as ABRSM and Trinity), recitals, and internal performances, while tracking progress and providing constructive feedback. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate student records, collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development, and contributing to a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment. The Piano Teacher is also expected to support academy events and uphold Melodica’s standards for professionalism, safety, and student care.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Piano Playing and Piano performance skills.
Candidates should possess skills in Piano Education and Piano teaching methodologies.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Music Theory and its application to piano instruction.
Candidates should possess experience in Music Education, including working with diverse age groups and skill levels.
Relevant music degree, diploma, or certification in piano or music education is preferred.
Experience preparing students for graded exams (e.g., ABRSM, Trinity) is an advantage.
Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to motivate and engage learners in a multicultural environment.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends, according to academy needs.
