Deliver engaging English lessons through live online classes, individual tutoring, workshops, and group sessions.
Assess learners' English proficiency, academic needs, strengths, and areas for improvement.
Develop structured lesson plans aligned with learner goals, curriculum requirements, and proficiency levels.
Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, speaking, pronunciation, and communication skills.
Provide academic English support for school, college, university, and professional learners.
Prepare exercises, assignments, quizzes, presentations, worksheets, and supplementary learning materials.
Support learners preparing for English-language examinations and academic assessments where applicable.
Provide personalized feedback on written work, presentations, speaking performance, and overall language development.
Track learner progress through assessments, performance records, assignments, and regular reviews.
Identify learning difficulties and adjust teaching methods, materials, pace, and activities accordingly.
Encourage active participation, critical thinking, confidence, and independent learning.
Conduct speaking and conversation practice to improve fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, and communication confidence.
Help learners develop academic writing skills, including essays, reports, summaries, research writing, and presentations.
Explain complex grammar and language concepts clearly using practical examples and appropriate exercises.
Provide guidance on study techniques, revision strategies, time management, and effective learning habits.
Communicate professionally with students, parents, academic coordinators, and other education staff where required.
Maintain accurate lesson records, attendance, assessment results, learner notes, and progress reports.
Provide constructive and timely feedback while maintaining a positive and encouraging learning environment.
Use digital teaching platforms, interactive resources, online whiteboards, learning-management systems, and educational technology effectively.
Stay informed about current English-teaching methodologies, academic requirements, assessment practices, and digital learning tools.
Contribute to course development, teaching resources, curriculum improvements, and academic programs.
Maintain confidentiality of student information, academic records, assessment results, and personal data.
Follow organizational policies, safeguarding requirements, academic standards, privacy procedures, and professional teaching guidelines.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in English, Education, Linguistics, Literature, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
3+ years of professional experience in English teaching, tutoring, academic instruction, language training, or education is preferred.
Excellent spoken and written English proficiency.
Strong understanding of English grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, composition, and academic communication.
Excellent teaching, presentation, interpersonal, and classroom-management skills.
Patient, encouraging, adaptable, and learner-focused approach.
Ability to explain complex language concepts clearly to students with different proficiency levels.
Strong lesson-planning, assessment, feedback, and student-progress monitoring skills.
Experience teaching children, teenagers, university students, or adult professionals is advantageous.
Experience preparing students for IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge English, PTE, or other examinations is advantageous.
Familiarity with online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Classroom, Moodle, or similar systems.
Strong digital literacy and ability to use interactive educational tools.
Experience with ESL/EFL instruction or international education environments is advantageous.
UAE or GCC education experience is advantageous.
TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, teaching license, or other relevant education certifications are advantageous but not required.
