Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing financial statements and reports. Responsibilities include overseeing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and company accounts, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The role also involves monitoring budgets, assisting with audits, ensuring compliance with local financial regulations and company policies, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams and management to maintain accurate financial records and support continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

Strong skills in financial accounting and bookkeeping, including general ledger maintenance and preparation of financial statements.
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow tracking.
Proficiency in accounting software and office tools (e.g., Quick Books, Excel, and related financial applications).
Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and basic financial analysis to support management reporting.
Understanding of relevant accounting standards and local financial regulations in the United Arab Emirates.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management, with the ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with clear written and verbal communication.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are an advantage.
Ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams and maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality.
Prior experience in professional services, consultancy is beneficial
